How to Log Back into Para

In order to log back into your Para wallet, navigate back to the application you created your wallet on and follow the steps:

• Log in with the same form of authentication you used (email, social login, or phone number)
• If you are using the same device you used to sign up for your Para wallet, log in with the passkey or password you created

• If you are not using the same device you used to sign up for your Para wallet and are having trouble locating the password or passkey, follow these steps:

  • Check if your passkey is saved and enabled in your password manager by searching for “Capsule” or “Para” in your iCloud Keychain, Google Chrome Profile, Bitwarden, etc.

  • After you enter your email, phone number, or social login, you should see a “hint” – typically a device + browser combination indicating the device that you used to set up the account.

    

  • Navigate to the link from the hint on the indicated device and browser (or another device and browser that has access to the password/passkey) in order to authenticate on the new device.

MetaMask Snaps is an initiative that allows third-party developers to add features and functionality to extend MetaMask. It’s been a significant development in the crypto ecosystem, with many projects launching their own Snaps.

The Para Account Snap allows you to use Para MPC (Multi-Party Computation) anywhere you can use MetaMask. This integration brings several benefits:

1. Manage your Para wallet from MetaMask: Easily sign in with your email or social auth method and manage your wallet directly from MetaMask.
2. Familiar Interface: Experience your wallet through the MetaMask interface you’re (likely 😊) already familiar with.
3. Full Functionality: Explore apps and tokens, buy, sell, stake, swap, and bridge assets.

Setup your Para Account in MetaMask

1. This will only work if you already have the MetaMask extension installed. If you need help, refer to MetaMask FAQs.
2. In MetaMask, click the three dots in the top right corner to access Settings.
   1. Select the Experimental section.
   2. Toggle to enable Account Snaps.
3. Select **Add to MetaMask.** Navigate to Accounts and select Add Snap Account.
4. Select Para Account Snap and start wallet creation. Enter your email or phone number and verify it with a six-digit code.
5. For returning users you’ll be asked to enter in your passkey or password. For new users you’ll be asked to set up a passkey or password.
